Dr. Muhammad Thahir completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore and he went on to do his post graduation in Ear Nose and Throat surgery from KMC Manipal in the year 1993.

Immediately after his post graduation he was associated with Yenepoya Group and was instrumental in establishing Yenepoya Specialty hospital, Kodialbail and Yenepoya Medical College hospital.

He has over 23 years of experience in the field of ENT and his areas of interest include, micro ear surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, microlaryngial surgery and paediatric ENT. He is a faculty in the department of ENT, Yenepoya Medical College since its inception.

In the capacity of Medical Director he leads the team at Yenepoya specialty hospital where advance treatments are offered in areas like Head & neck surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Interventional cardiology, Joint replacements, Spine surgery, Onco surgery, Paediatric surgery and Neonatology are carried out.
