Dr. Fernandes has written 4 books, published over 23 peer reviewed scientific publications, written over 200 media articles and has impacted over 4 million lives and counting. He is widely recognized around the world, has won multiple awards and honors. He is the Honorary director at the Edward & Cynthia Institute of Public Health and the Founder of CHD Group – which holds UNECOSOC Special Consultative Status.

Dr. Fernandes was a Former Consultant to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for the Asia and the Pacific Region at Bangkok. He is also the Chief Coordinator & Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Health, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) and also Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Medicine, Gulf Medical University, UAE. Further, he serves the Atlantic Council, Washington DC as non-resident senior fellow.
